Discover the beauty of the Dolomites, with their unique shapes and colors, on an unforgettable day trip from Venice. Hop aboard a comfortable and spacious Mercedes minivan for the scenic journey from Venice. Stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the town that will host the next Winter Olympic Games in 2026. Stroll along the most prestigious and famous street in the Dolomites, the pedestrian area of Corso Italia. Enjoy some free time for a walk or a coffee in this charming and renowned town. Next, head to Lake Braies, the largest lake in the Dolomites and among the most beautiful in Italy, where you can take a walk around the lake or simply sit and relax by the shore while admiring the magnificent scenery. Continue on to Lake Misurina to admire the lake and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the symbol of the Dolomites, before returning to the meeting point in Venice.

Cortina d’Ampezzo, nicknamed the “Queen of the Dolomites,” is the largest and most famous of the 18 towns that make up Ladinia, as well as a renowned winter and summer tourist destination. It is the stage for numerous internationally significant events related to the mountains and winter sports. It hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics and, together with Milan, will host the 2026 Games. Enjoy some free time to stroll through this picturesque and famous mountain town.

Enjoy an optional walk around the lake (trekking distance 3.5 km/2.1 miles) or rent a beautiful wooden rowboat (45 minutes) to take some photos of the stunning panorama and the turquoise lake.
Lake Braies is always accessible, even in winter (from late December to late March, the lake is completely frozen).
The total stopover will be 1.5 hours (April to November) and 1 hour (December to March).

(Winter Season Only) During the winter season, it is possible to go up to higher altitudes by snowmobile to take some photos, reaching up to 2,325 meters, and then descend by snowmobile or sled (total one-way route of approximately 7 km). Additional cost to be paid on-site: €35. Please specify in the notes if interested. Thank you.
